‘New standard method’ increases Sussex housing needs by 23.3%
The proposed New Standard Method is set out in the Government’s ‘Proposed reforms to the National Planning Policy Framework and other changes to the planning system’.
The ‘proposed ‘New Standard Method’ increases the annual housing need for Sussex from 11539 houses to 14232 houses. This is a 23.3% increase each year.
