3 November 11am: Join CPRE Sussex on March for Clean Water

Clean water is a major issue in Sussex and we encourage members and supporters to join the march and rally in Central London.  

The March for Clean Water is a legal, peaceful and inclusive march and rally co-ordinated by River Action, supported by a coalition of water, wildlife and environmental groups and individuals who care about our seas, lakes, rivers and waterways. The coalition includes CPRE, the National Trust, Soil Association, The Rivers Trust, the RSPB, Wildlife Trusts, Angling Trust, Surfers Against Sewage, the Women’s Institute, British Canoeing, Feargal Sharkey and many other national regional and local groups.

The organisations and individuals on the march will be calling for urgent action from the Government to address the UK’s water pollution crisis.

CPRE Sussex will be joining the march on 3 November (previously arranged for 26th October). It will set off from Albert Embankment al 11am making its way to Parliament Square for a rally at 1.30pm – 3pm.
